How often should I have maintenance done on my HVAC system?

We recommend two times a year. One heating check up, and one cooling check up.

How long are new HVAC systems under warranty?

The American Standard systems that we sell and install come with a 10 year parts and compressor warranty from the manufacturer. We provide a labor warranty for two years after the installation.

How often should I replace my filter?

If your system takes a 1″ filter, we recommend replacing it every 1-2 months.

What SEER rating is right for me?

Most of the time, the baseline 14 SEER system will be considerably more efficient than your old one. However, the systems with a higher SEER rating will save you even more money on the electric bill, with added benefits such as quieter operation and better dehumidification.

Are UV air purifiers really effective?

Yes. Studies have shown the drastic reduction of bacteria, pollen, mold, odors, viruses, and many more airborne contaminates by installing a UV air purifier in your homes central air conditioning ductwork.
